Major Gifts to Hadassah of $5,000 or more are essentialto help meet current commitments to our rojects as well as upgrade and expand our facilities to meet future needs. Major Gifts can be given to every Hadassah project and may be fulfilled with cash, stocks, bonds, trusts, annuities and Israel Bonds.

A major gift to Hadassah is a tangible expression of commitment that binds the donor to Hadassahs vital work in Israel and the U.S.

Major Gift Categories:
Guardian levels of giving $250,000 to $5 million*
Golden Wreath Society of Major Donors 100,000 or more*

Circle of Founders $50,000 to 99,999*
Founder $15,000 or more (payable over 3 years)
Young Founder $15,000 or more (payable over 5 years)
Benefactor $10,000 to $14,000 or more (payable over 2 years)
Sustainer $ 5,000 to $ 9,999 or more (payable over 2 years) * Cumulative or outright

HADASSAH CARDS:

Beautiful cards are available for purchase throughout the year. You can mail them for a birthday, anniversary, baby, get well, bar/bat mitzvah, thank you or note cards. Prices are $1.50 each or 5 for $6.00.

JNF BLUE BOXES:

These time-honored JNF Blue Boxes should be included in your home for tzedakah. The donations assist the JNF projects in Israel. To get your box, call Sandi Harte (650)369-9425.

IMA-ABBA Circle:

This Circle takes care of a Youth Aliyah child for a year, & a Circle is complete when the Chapter has collected donations totaling $1,000. Become a member of the Circle (minimum donation $25), honor a happy occasion or give a memorial gift. For information call Rosemary Selburn (408) 244-6603.

YOUTH ALIYAH:

Since its establishment in 1934, when it began rescuing European Jewish children from the atrocities
of war, Youth Aliyah has been dedicated to improving the lives of Jewish Youth. Each year scores of
young immigrants arrive in Israel with dreams of making a fresh start.
Youth Aliya helps them, as well as Israeli kids from under privileged or abusing families, find a home in its villages.

ASSOCIATES:

Involve the men who wish to be identified with the vital work of Hadassah. Men of all ages become lifetime affiliates for a one-time $200 gift. The gift is invested in an endowment fund for research in Hadassah medical programs. For more information, call Ellen Schwartz (650) 960-3541

KEEPERS OF THE GATE:

This annual giving program sets the standard for action-oriented philanthropy with emphasis on healing. By making an annual gift of $1,000, contributors are creating a world free of life-threatening diseases.

HADASSAH YAHRZEIT:

Sanctify the memory of a departed loved one in perpetuity in Israel for a one-time gift of $1000. Kaddish is recited on the yahrzeit in the Abbell Synagogue of the Hadassah-Hebrew Medical Center in Jerusalem. A Hadassah Yahrzeit Certificate is issued to the person establishing the memorial.

JNF TREE CERTIFICATES:

Support the Jewish National Fund & acknowledge an occasion by sending a JNF Tree Certificate.
